Paragraphs

The Healing to Wellness Court continues to be available to tribal members affected by substance abuse who are involved in, or potentially at-risk of involvement in, the judicial system.

The Tribal Court also plans to collaborate with Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness’s Tribal Home Visiting Program, which is designed to provide pregnant individuals or parents of newborns with traditional support and pre-natal care. Those who are pregnant or have children under the age of one are encouraged to enroll.

Additionally, the court will continue to work closely with other tribal service providers to ensure tribal citizens are aware of their resources and possible legal options.

Finally, Pine Tree Legal Assistance (PTLA) staff will be available at the courthouse to provide aid with legal questions and concerns on the last Tuesday of each month from 11:00am to 1:00pm. PTLA may also have limited capacity to provide representation in tribal court as well.

The Court is located at 88 Bell Road in Littleton, ME.

Court Clerk, Tiffany Smith, can be contacted at 207-532-4273 ext. 211
