Domestic Violence

The long-term negative impact of domestic violence on children cannot be underestimated. As the GAL, we encourage you to call on your colleagues, domestic violence experts and any other providers who might be able to help you assess a possible abusive situation. In addition there are web-based resources that offer helpful information in assessing parents and the existence of domestic violence.
