HelpMeLaw

Pine Tree Native American Unit

We provide legal services to members of the Micmac, Maliseet, Penobscot and Passamaquoddy Tribes and to other Indians residing in Maine.  We publish the Wabanaki Legal News and the Quinnehtukqut Legal News (for tribes in Connecticut) two times per year.

We travel to Indian Island, Indian Township, Pleasant Point, Houlton and Presque Isle several times per year. If you want to meet with us in your area, call us to find out when and where we will be visiting next.

If you live in the U.S. but outside of Maine, go to a list of Indian Legal Services programs, to find help in your state.
